PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually-actuated reduced pressure treatment system having capabilities of providing a regulated pressure to a tissue site.SOLUTION: A reduced pressure pump comprises: a first cylinder 215; a piston 231 movable within the first cylinder 215; a charging chamber 355 defined between a closed end of the first cylinder 215 and the piston 231; a piston spring 243 operably connected with the piston 231 to bias the piston 231; a seal 235 disposed within the first cylinder 215; a regulated chamber 359 defined between the seal 235 and the piston 231; a regulator passage 275 providing fluid communication between the charging chamber 355 and the regulated chamber 359; a second cylinder 219 to move the piston 231 toward a compressed position when the reduced pressure pump is being manually actuated; and a valve body 303 connected with the regulator passage 275 to selectively allow or prevent fluid communication between the charging chamber 355 and the regulated chamber 359.
