<p>The invention relates to an axial-flow electric machine (1) for converting mechanical energy, in particular from a wind turbine, into electric energy, that comprises an outer rotor defining an inductor and symmetrically surrounding a stator defining the armature, the rotor and the stator being separated by two air gaps allowing the relative mobility of the rotor in an axial direction relative to the stator. The machine includes spacer means comprising, for each air gap, a so-called sliding layer made at least partially of a filler material for maintaining the distance of the air gaps.</p> |
