PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming filler which can realize simple shapes and can be easily attached. SOLUTION: The foaming filler 11 is provided with a foaming part 12 which foams by external heating. The foaming part 12 can be elastically deformed, and a first engagement part 13 and a second engagement part 14 are provided to the foaming part 12. The first engagement part 13 and the second engagement part 14 are engaged with a first part 16 subject to engagement and a second part 17 subject to engagement respectively, and the first part 16 and the second part 17 are provided to a reinforcing member 34. Then the foaming filler 11 is constituted so that the distance between the engagement parts 13 and 14 is varied by elastic deformation of the foaming part 12, thus the engagement parts 13 and 14 are engaged with the parts 16, 17 subject to engagement respectively. The foaming filler 11 is for filling a form element into the clearance within a pillar 31, and the sound-absorbing characteristics, sound insulation characteristics, dumping characteristics, dusttightness or the like of the pillar 31 can be improved by the form element.
