PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activated carbon molded body having high particulate removal performance in addition to performance for removing odorants, such as residual chlorine, and organic compounds.SOLUTION: An activated carbon molded body includes a cylindrical core having a plurality of pores and an activated carbon layer formed on an outer peripheral surface of the core by impregnating the core, in a state where both ends of the core are closed, in slurry containing particulate activated carbon, fibril fibers, and water and sucking the slurry from the inside of the core. The mode diameter of the plurality of pores of the core is 10-80 μm. Preferably, the surface roughness Ra of the outer peripheral surface of the core is 5-50 μm, and the radial crushing strength of the core is 5 N/mmor more. |
