PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an effect as if a user is carrying out ensemble performance, by a simple musical performance operation.SOLUTION: A sounding assignment system includes the steps of: determining a chord on the basis of a pitch of a depressed key note Nkc in a chord region, in an additional sound generation unit AN, when a harmony function is turned on; automatically generating a plurality of additional notes Na: Na1, Na2, etc. having a pitch that is in harmony with a depressed key note Nki in a musical performance region, in accordance with the determined chord; and inputting [the depressed key note Nki in the musical performance region + the additional note Na] to an assignment control unit AC, as a sounding assignment note. In the assignment control unit AC, a plurality of parts (tone colors) are assigned to the inputted [the depressed key note Nki in the musical performance region + the additional note Na] in order to emit the plurality of pitches by varying them with the tone colors of the plurality of parts. In other words, sounding assignment processing using an ensemble sounding function is applied to, not only the depressed key note Nki according to a user's musical performance, but also to the additional notes Na automatically generated correspondingly to the depressed key note Nki. |
