<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical probe for OCT capable of stabilizing a deflection characteristic of an optical deflection member.SOLUTION: An optical probe 10A comprises an end part 22B of an optical fiber 22, an end part 23B of a rotary force transmission member 23, an optical deflection member 11, an inside layer cap member 12, and an outside layer cap member 13. The optical deflection member 11 includes a connection surface 11a and a deflection surface 11b. A low refractive index medium 14 is adjacent to the deflection surface 11b. Irradiation light L2 propagating inside the optical deflection member 11 reaches the deflection surface 11b and is deflected laterally by total reflection at the deflection surface 11b. The inside layer cap member 12 encloses the deflection surface 11b so as to seal the deflection surface 11b. The outside layer cap member 13 encloses at least part of the inside layer cap member 12.</p> |
