<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for determining an elevation value of a bridge. <P>SOLUTION: A method for determining an elevation value of a bridge includes: extracting a link including the bridge as a target link from a map data storage unit; determining a first gradient variation point adjacent to a first node corresponding to one end point of the target link and a second gradient variation point adjacent to a second node corresponding to the other end point of the target link by referring to an elevation data storage unit; calculating a first elevation value of the determined first gradient variation point and a second elevation value of the determined second gradient variation point; and determining the elevation value of the bridge on the basis of the calculated first elevation value and the calculated second elevation value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
