<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump that can maintain suction performance to a working fluid including air. <P>SOLUTION: The vane pump 1 used as a fluid pressure supply source includes a vane chamber drain passage 12 for discharging the air included in a working fluid from the vane chamber 7 in a transition area for transition of a vane chamber 7 from an ejection area to a suction area. The vane chamber drain passage 12 includes a plurality of rotor side drain passages 13 opened to a rotor outer periphery part 20 for defining the vane chamber 7 and a rotor end face 2c, a casing side drain passage 15 opened to a part to slide with the rotor end face 2c, and a prior communication passage 40 for communication of each of the rotor side drain passages 13 and the casing side drain passage 15 before having each of the rotor side drain passages 13 and the casing side drain passage 15 facing with each other for communicating with each other according to rotation of a rotor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
