PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet having high printing density and good adhesiveness between a substrate and/or a dye-receiving layer even when printing is performed by a recent high-speed printer.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermal transfer image receiving sheet 1 which is formed by sequentially laminating a heat insulation layer (3), an undercoat layer (4) and a dye-receiving layer (5) on one surface of a substrate (2). The undercoat layer (4) is formed by applying and drying a coating liquid containing at least any one of an alkoxide, a hydrolysate thereof and tin chloride, and a water-soluble polymer as main components. |
