PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator cooling type superconducting apparatus that protects the motor of a refrigerator from a leakage magnetic field of a superconductive coil body by a configuration suitable for downsizing and light weight.SOLUTION: A superconducting apparatus includes: a superconductive coil body 10; a container accommodating the superconductive coil body 10; a refrigerator that is fixed onto the container and drives a built-in motors 34 to cool the superconductive coil body 10; and a magnetic material shield provided in the periphery of the motors 34. The magnetic material shield includes a first and a second wall parts 40a and 40b, each of which extends in a coil diameter direction of the superconductive coil body 10 and being arranged so as to face with each other interleaving the motors 34. The first wall part 40a is disposed at a position where the strength of the magnetic field that the superconductive coil body 10 generates is relatively larger than the second wall part 40b. The length of the first wall part 40a in the coil diameter direction is longer than that of the second wall part 40b.
