<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a novel foam with a uniform minute foam structure and excellent toughness and heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The production method for the foam is a production method for a foam having spherical bubbles, and includes: a step (I) to prepare a W/O type emulsion including a continuous oil phase component and an aqueous phase component immiscible with the continuous oil phase component; a step (II) to shape the obtained W/O type emulsion; a step (III) to polymerize the shaped W/O type emulsion; and a step (IV) to dehydrate the obtained hydrated polymer, wherein the continuous oil phase component includes a hydrophilic polyurethane-based polymer, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and a crosslinking agent, and the crosslinking agent includes one or more selected from a multifunctional (meth)acrylate, the weight-average molecular weight of which is 800 or more, a multifunctional (meth)acrylamide, and a polymerizable oligomer, and one or more selected from a multifunctional (meth)acrylate, the weight-average molecular weight of which is 500 or less, and a multifunctional (meth)acrylamide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
