<p>The invention relates to a method and to a device for identifying and marking an event taking place on the site of a stationary or mobile object, such as a vehicle, wherein at least one physical parameter associated with said event is measured, said physical parameter is stored, and the physical parameter is sent to a monitoring and/or alarm unit. The device (10) comprises a first device (11) installed on the site and a second device (12) which is a management platform. The first device (11) includes a unit (11a) for collecting information received from sensors and which is connected to a unit for storing said information (11aa) and to a unit for creating a report (11ab). The device also includes a remote control unit (11b) connected to an information storage unit (11aa) and to a unit for creating a report (11ab). The information stored in a unit (11aa) and the report issued by a unit (11ab) are sent to the second device (12) which comprises a storage unit (12a) for receiving the information issued by the unit (11aa) as well as the report issued by the unit (11ab) and sending said information to an intervener at an intervention station (12b).
