The subject of the invention is a method for recycling waste aluminum, wherein the waste aluminum is shredded into small particles, impurities are thoroughly removed by chemical means, and which is then dissolved in sulfuric acid, accompanied by the release of hydrogen and the formation of aluminum sulfate.
