Multi-function apparatus for the preparation of hot beverages, comprising a water reservoir, a boiler arranged under said reservoir and connected to the inside of the reservoir by a first conduit, a water heating resistance arranged in the boiler, an infusion chamber with a relative cover and a filtering element for a definite quantity of product to be subjected to infusion, and suitable, in one alternative, for the preparation of a single dose of beverage through the pressure infusion method (espresso coffee), or in another alternative, for the preparation of a beverage in multiple doses using a filter and by the percolation (drip) method through a filter. The apparatus includes an accessory, suitable to contain a quantity of product for a single dose of beverage, housed within said infusion chamber in place of said filter, and in which the upper opening of said accessory is suitable to be closed by the lower surface of said cover when it closes the infusion chamber. There are also provided means of electrical power supply suitable to operate said heating resistance with modes consistent with the type and quantity of beverages to prepare. |
