The invention relates to a method for producing carbamatoorganosilanes (CS) of the general formula (3), in which an aminoorganosilane (AS) of the general formula (4), NH2-R2-SiR3 (3-x)(OR4)x (4), is reacted with a dialkylcarbonate (DAC) of the general formula (5) in the presence of a base catalyst (K), wherein R1, R3, R4, and R5 can be the same or different and each is a monovalent, unsubstituted or substituted hydrocarbon group, R2 is a covalent, unsubstituted or substituted hydrocarbon group, and x has a value of 1, 2, or 3. During the reaction, there is a period (P1) in which the reaction temperature ranges from 35 to 80 °C for a duration of at least 30 minutes, and there is a reaction period (P2) which occurs at a later time and in which the reaction temperature is at least 10 °C higher than during the period (P1). |
