The present invention relates to a traffic volume sensing type apparatus for recognizing a vehicle number. The traffic volume sensing type apparatus for recognizing a vehicle number of the present invention includes: multiple image photographing devices to recognize an image of a vehicle driving on road to generate image data; multiple number recognition devices which are connected to at least one of the image photographing devices to receive the image data, connected to each other, analyze the image data to generate driving data, in which the number of the number recognition devices is less than that of the image photographing device; a control server to receive the driving data generated from the number recognition device; and a database to store the driving data transferred to the control server. According to the present invention, even when number recognition devices less than the typical number of number recognition devices are provided, the apparatus can be more efficiently operated without omission of driving data, an overall equipment cost can be reduced and the efficiency can be improved. |
