PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material, an electrode and a light-emitting electrochromic element which exhibit high durability and stable light emission characteristics.SOLUTION: The electrode material is a fluorescent compound represented by the general formula (1) defined by Ln[ML] capable of fluorescence by insertion of alkali metal ions. In the general formula (1), Ln represents an element selected from lanthanoid elements, M represents an element selected from transition metal elements, and L represents a ligand.
