PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of suppressing the deterioration of a tracking error signal due to deviation of an optical axis when a laser beam emitted from a plurality of laser devices arranged in the same package is irradiated to a diffraction grating.SOLUTION: A laser device 101a emitting CD light and a laser device 101b emitting DVD light are placed in the same package, and a lining direction of the laser devices 101a and 101b is inclined only by an angle &thetas; to a Z axis direction. A diffraction grating 103 has a plurality of areas formed in a direction vertical to the center line of a diffraction effect. The laser device 101b is approached to the center line of the diffraction grating 103 in the Z axis direction compared with the case that the lining direction of the laser devices 101a and 101b is not inclined. Four division sensors C1r-C3r light-receiving CD light and four division sensors D2r and D3r light-receiving DVD light have an octagonal outline. |
