An apparatus for gripping the edge of a display sheet 7 comprises an elongate mounting plate 13 for attachment, e.g. by adhesive, to an edge region of a display sheet 7, and a support rail assembly 3A, 3B. The support rail assembly comprises a first part 3A defining a channel 15 for receiving the mounting plate and a second part 3B pivotally mounted on the first part for movement between a first position for insertion of the elongate mounting plate into the channel and a second position (Fig. 3) for applying a compressive load to the mounting plate along the majority of the length of the mounting plate. The mounting plate and the first part of the support rail preferably have co-operating hook-like profiles 17, 19. The second part of the support rail is preferably formed with an eccentric cam 16B which applies the compressive force to the mounting plate. |
