<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid machinery capable of reducing an unstable fluid force produced in a seal device while suppressing reduction in efficiency of the fluid machinery.SOLUTION: A fluid machinery comprises: a rotary impeller having a rotor 5, and blades 6 fixed to the rotor 5; a stationary wall accommodating and facing the rotary impeller; a stationary part having a seal 8 provided in a clearance between the rotary impeller and the stationary wall; and a plurality of swirl-flow resistance plates 12 provided along a circumferential direction of the rotor on the upstream side of a seal device for blocking swirl of a leakage flow flowing through the clearance. The fluid machinery is provided with a relief channel 14 at the stationary part, for releasing the leakage flow flowing between the swirl-flow resistance plates adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction, to the downstream side of the swirl-flow resistance plates, of the clearance.</p> |
