<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high output of a rotary electric machine by increasing an effective magnetic flux.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 comprising a stator 2 and a rotor 3 has a cylindrical rotor core 5, and a plurality of permanent magnets 11 that are embedded in the rotor core 5. A plurality of flat parts 6 are formed on a radial outer peripheral surface of the rotor core 5. The rotor core 5 has a plurality of magnetic pole parts 8 that are arrayed at regular intervals in a circumferential direction. Each flat part 6 is formed to be positioned between the adjacent magnetic pole parts 8 adjoining each other in the circumferential direction.</p> |
