The present invention relates to a method and system for parsing an Internet of Things heterogeneous identification. The method provides a special description mechanism for a parsing protocol of an Internet of Things heterogeneous identification, which can not only form a heterogeneous identification encoding rule corresponding to the heterogeneous identification, but can also accordingly form a corresponding heterogeneous identification parsing protocol rule, and conducts registration binding on the above-mentioned rules and the corresponding Internet of Things heterogeneous identification. By means of the Internet of Things parsing query of a standard identification code corresponding to the Internet of Things heterogeneous identification, the heterogeneous identification encoding rule and the heterogeneous identification parsing protocol rule which are bound can be obtained, so that the Internet of Things heterogeneous identification can be transformed into a unified compatible Internet of Things identification including the encoding rule and the parsing protocol rule, thereby initiating a correct Internet of Things identification parsing query for a corresponding parsing server by reading rule information therein and adopting a corresponding parsing protocol. The present invention can achieve the common query of parsing various Internet of Things heterogeneous identifications based on different encoding rules and different parsing protocols.
