<p>An information delivery system according to an embodiment of the invention comprises an IP push server and terminals. The IP push server stores terminal attribute data in which the terminal IDs are associated with the multicast addresses corresponding to the terminals, and the IP push server comprises a delivery means. The delivery means acquires, from the terminal attribute data, the multicast address corresponding to the terminal ID of a delivery destination, generates delivery data including the terminal ID of the delivery destination and also including notification data, and transmits the delivery data to the acquired multicast address. Each of the terminals comprises a delivery data acquisition means. The delivery data acquisition means receives, from an edge router accommodating the terminal, the delivery data addressed to the multicast address corresponding to the terminal. If the terminal ID of the terminal has been set, as the terminal ID of the delivery destination, in the received delivery data, the delivery data acquisition means then processes the notification data included in the delivery data.</p> |
