PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for a bar handle vehicle that can prevent buckling of a delay spring.SOLUTION: A first rotary lever 41, a second rotary lever 42 and a knocker 43 are pivotally supported rotatably in lever holders 21q and 21r protrudingly formed near a cylinder hole opening of a cylinder body 21a through a fixing pin 33. In the cylinder body 21a is provided an upper bracket 21h comprising a spring mounting hole 21b on which one end of a delay spring 32 is mounted. A boss 42a for mounting a spring is provided closer to the outer periphery of the cylinder body than a spring mounting hole 21p of the second rotary lever 42.
