<p>A method and apparatus for indicating medical equipment on an ultrasound image, the method including transmitting ultrasound signals toward a target object, receiving ultrasound echo signals at a plurality of angles from the target object and equipment inserted in the target object, obtaining location information of the equipment based on the ultrasound echo signals received at the plurality of angles, generating an image of the equipment based on the obtained location information, generating a basic image based on the ultrasound echo signals received at a predetermined angle, synthesizing the image of the equipment and the basic image, and displaying the synthesized image.</p> |
