<p>The invention relates to medical technology and provides more accurate control of liquid anesthetic vapor concentrations and a reduction in the time required to prepare an apparatus for operation. The present apparatus includes a container for an anesthetic, a mixing and vaporization chamber, a liquid-anesthetic dosage dispenser in the form of a vertical tube, a pressure sensor, and electromagnetic valves. The apparatus is additionally provided with a micro compressor, which is connected to the container for the anesthetic and to an electronic control unit which is capable of using software to change the output of the micro compressor and is capable of controlling the electromagnetic valves. The upper end of the dosage dispenser tube is additionally connected by a pressure line to the mixing and vaporization chamber via an electromagnetic valve. The dosage dispenser tube is made of a material which is transparent to infrared radiation, and is provided, on the outside thereof, with an infrared optoelectronic sensor which is connected to the electronic control unit and is affixed to the tube at a level which is higher than the level at which liquid anesthetic is output into the mixing and vaporization chamber.</p> |
