The boiling of liquified propellant gas in aerosol dispenser containers having the propellant accommodated in a reservoir separate from the spray material is accelerated by incorporating in the propellant reservoir 5 a body having at least one cavity communicating with the liquid through an aperture, the bottom of the cavity being at a higher level than the aperture and the cavity being at least partially filled by the propellant gas. The body may be a tube 8 closed at its upper end 11 or an open tube folded in the middle and with its open ends adjacent the base of the container. The tube may be of polyethylene or aluminium. Alternatively the body may be a piece of vermiculite, pumice stone, charcoal or untreated bone.</p> |
