PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude estimation device configured to properly estimate attitude of an object.SOLUTION: An attitude estimation device 1 includes: a storage unit 17 for storing images obtained by imaging an object as an attitude estimation object from a plurality of directions in association with the imaging directions; a control unit 11 for determining an attitude of the object on the basis of the image captured by a camera 10; and an output unit which outputs the attitude of the object estimated in the control unit 11. The control unit 11 extracts a plurality of images similar to a first image obtained by imaging the object from a first imaging direction, as a candidate image, from the storage unit 17, decides a second imaging direction for the next imaging, determines a prediction image to be obtained when the object is imaged from the second imaging direction, on the basis of the data stored in the storage unit 17, calculates similarity between the second image obtained by imaging the object from the second imaging direction and each of the prediction images, and estimates the attitude of the object on the basis of the imaging direction associated with the prediction image having the highest similarity. |
