<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method for a cylindrical synthetic resin film that, even when no supporting body can be inserted and arranged at the inner peripheral side of a continuous cylindrical film delivered continuously or intermittently, always makes smooth and flat a cut cross section thereof and makes it fully applicable as a fixing belt, a transfer belt, an intermediate transfer belt, and the like for OA devices in such a manner that the deformation, the displacement, etc. caused by cutting blades are fully restrained during cutting the continuous cylindrical film. <P>SOLUTION: When a continuous cylindrical synthetic resin film W delivered continuously or intermittently is cut at a prescribed length, while an outer peripheral surface of the continuous cylindrical film W is sucked by negative pressure at multiple positions thereof in a circumferential direction, the continuous cylindrical film W is arcuately cut over the entire circumference at the front-side or rear-side proximity area of the suction positions in the direction of the cylindrical film delivery by one or more cutting blades disposed on the outside of the continuous cylindrical film W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
