A user terminal navigates via a first browser session to a URL of an application on a remote computer which requires authentication (610). The user notifies a server of the requirement (650). The server retrieves stored user login information (660) and injects it into the application via a second, headless browser session (675). The second browser informs the server of successful login and, on request from the server, sends the users application cookies to the server (683). The second browser session is destroyed (685), and the cookies and destination URL of the application are sent to the user terminal (687). The user is therefore presented with the application in a logged-in state. |
