<p>Monochrome or polychrome pattern is produced. An electrostatic image is formed from each elementary image of the colour image of the pattern, and is developed with electroscopic, pref. electrostatically charged, powder, of a colour corresponding to that of the elementary image. The powder image is transferred to the fabric. The different elementary images are successively formed on the same zone of the fabric, so that the desired image is synthesised. Pref. the image is first formed a photoconductive element. The powder is grains, beads or short filaments, which have a surface coat synthetic resin. A protective resin film is formed on top of the fabric image.</p> |
