<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic capacitance sensor that narrows down a measurement area to a narrower range.SOLUTION: An electrostatic capacitance sensor (10) has: an AC signal generation source (31); a transmission electrode (21) that is connected to the AC signal generation source; a first reception electrode (23); a second reception electrode (22) that is arranged in a periphery of the first reception electrode, and has a symmetric shape with respect to the first reception electrode; a first synthetic unit (39) that synthesizes a signal phase-shifted between the transmission electrode and the first reception electrode with a signal received by the first reception electrode; a second synthetic unit (39') that synthesizes a signal phase-shifted between the transmission electrode and the second reception electrode with a signal received by the second reception electrode; a first phase detection unit (36) that performs a phase detection of the signal synthesized by the first synthetic unit with a signal of the AC signal generation source; a second phase detection unit (36') that performs a phase detection of the signal synthesized by the second synthetic unit with the signal of the AC signal generation source; and a correction unit (40) that corrects an output from the first phase detection unit with an output of the second phase detection unit.</p> |
