<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music box which suppresses the occurrence of noise.SOLUTION: A music box includes: a plurality of lock members 22 which are provided so as to be turnable around a second shaft 20 provided in parallel with a first shaft 12 and correspond to a plurality of star wheels 14 respectively; and a plurality of electromagnets 24 corresponding to the plurality of lock members 22 respectively. Each lock member 22 is in a lock state of locking a projection 36 of the corresponding star wheel 14 when the corresponding electromagnet 24 is in a non-excited state, and the lock member 22 is turned in a first turning direction around the second shaft 20 by a magnetic force of the electromagnet 24 and is set to an unlock state of unlocking the projection 36 when the electromagnet 24 is in an excited state. Each electromagnet 24 and a corresponding lock member 22 are not in contact with each other in a state of being closest to each other. Thus the occurrence of noise can be suitably suppressed.</p> |
