<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the generation of an abnormal sound and pulsation even if there is a gap S between the inner face of a fitting hole and the outer face of a valve housing. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel supply device includes: a fuel pump contained in a fuel tank and sending fuel in the fuel tank to an internal combustion engine via a fuel supply passage; a fuel return passage branched off from the fuel supply passage for returning a part of discharged fuel of the fuel pump to the fuel tank; and a pressure regulating valve unit provided in the fuel return passage for regulating discharge pressure from the fuel pump. The pressure regulating valve unit has: the valve housing having an internal space; a fuel introducing hole formed at the valve housing and communicating with the internal space; a valve element contained in the internal space for opening and closing the fuel introducing hole; and a spring pressing the valve element. A tubular body is provided integrally at an end of the fuel return passage or an end of the fuel introducing hole. The tubular body advances in the fuel introducing hole or in the fuel return passage and makes the fuel return passage communicate with the fuel introducing hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
