<p>The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an inhibitor of oxidized phospholipids as an active ingredient for preventing or treating immune diseases. It is confirmed that oxidized phospholipids activate inflammasome and caspase-1, and improve expression and secretion of interleukin-1β(IL-1β). Accordingly, the inhibitor of oxidized phospholipids can be utilized as a medicine for immune diseases causing overexpression or oversecretion. Additionally, the present invention can provide a method for inducing expression of interleukin-1β(IL-1β) in a test tube and a method for effectively screening the medicine for immune disease causing overexpression or oversecretion of interleukin-1β(IL-1β).</p> |
