<p>An electronic pedometer (1) comprising a lower housing (2), button batteries, and a cover (6). A battery relief hole (3) is provided on the lower housing (2). A battery limiting ring (5) extended towards the interior of the lower housing (2) is provided at the edge of the battery relief hole (3). The button batteries are arranged in parallel within the battery limiting ring (5). The cover (6) closes the battery relief hole (3). An insertion tab (7) and an engaging tab (8) are provided on the cover (6). An insertion groove that matches the insertion tab (7) and a retaining apparatus (55) that matches the engaging tab (8) are provided on the lower housing (2). When the batteries need to be replaced, the battery cover (6) can be removed easily from the lower housing (2) simply with a force exerted by a hand placed at the position of the engaging tab (8), thus allowing for easy replacement of the batteries.</p> |
