The bus loop power interface (100) comprises a voltage control module (110) receiving a loop voltage VLOOP and generating a predetermined supply voltage VSUPPLY, an impedance control module (120) coupled to the voltage control module (110), with the impedance control module (120) receiving a loop current ILOOP and generating a predetermined supply current ISUPPLY, and a feedback (115) coupled between the voltage control module (110) and the impedance control module (120).
