PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process unit capable of stably holding a brush roller and prolonging the service life of the brush roller.SOLUTION: The process unit includes a drum frame 100, a photoreceptive drum 61, a brush roller 64 configured to supply a developer to the photoreceptive drum 61 and being movable between a development position where a brush layer on a surface can come into contact with the peripheral surface of the photoreceptive drum 61 and a separation position where the brush layer is separated from the peripheral surface of the photoreceptive drum 61, and a cam 310 which is supported by the drum frame 100 and includes a first action part 311 locating the brush roller 64 in the development position and a second action part 312 locating the brush roller 64 in the separation position and in which the shortest distance between the first action part 311 and the rotational axis of the photoreceptive drum 61, when the brush roller 64 is located in the development position is smaller than the shortest distance between the second action part 312 and the rotational axis of the photoreceptive drum 61, when the brush roller 64 is located in the separation position. |
