PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide part mount device and method that investigate parts held by plural nozzles of a transfer head with a small number of members.SOLUTION: A transfer head 12 of a part mount device 10 has a rotary unit 22A for revolving plural nozzles 20A for sucking and holding parts P from the upper side, a rotary unit 22B for revolving plural nozzles 20B for sucking and holding parts P from the upper side, and one camera 30 for successively imaging sideward-view and downward-view images of parts P held by the nozzles 20A located at imaging positions Qa2, Qa4 on a revolution track Ra of the nozzles 20A and sideward-view and downward-view images of parts P held by the nozzles 20B located at imaging positions Qb2, Qb4. The camera 30 takes the sideward-view and downward-view images of the parts P held by the nozzles 20A and 20B one by one, or simultaneously takes at least some of the sideward-view and downward-view images. |
