SHOWPIECE GUIDE SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showpiece guide system which can deliver sub content to all members in a group who have come to the vicinity of a showpiece in synchronization with reproduction of main content describing the contents of the showpiece.

SOLUTION: When an IC tag 61 owned by an IC tag owner in a delivery area 70 set in the vicinity of a video information reproducer 20 is detected, a reader/writer 30 transmits the user IDs of all users belonging to a group 50 of the IC tag owner to a sound information delivery server 10 according to a user ID acquired from the IC tag 61. The sound information delivery server 10 monitors a user 51 entering and exiting the delivery area 70, by using the user ID sent from the reader/writer 30 and delivers sound information to the PDA 60 of a user 51 who has entered the delivery area 70 according to the reproduction elapsed time of video information reproduced by the video information reproducer 20.
