METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device. The method includes the steps of: forming a gate electrode and a light shielding member on an insulation substrate; forming a thin-film transistor by forming a source electrode and a drain electrode on the gate electrode; forming data lines on the light shielding member; forming an organic film on the thin-film transistor and the data lines; and exposing the convex part of the organic film in area of the thin-film transistor and the data lines to the light through using a mask including a semi-light transmitting unit formed on the thin-film transistor and the data lines.
