<p>Provided is a superconducting electric power generation system capable of securing high control reliability and simplifying a system configuration by forming a superconducting field coil of a fixing type and disposing a large power converter at not a rotational shaft but an outside of the superconducting electric power generation system. A superconducting electric power generation system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a superconducting generator including a rotatable armature coil and a fixed superconducting field coil and for outputting a constant voltage without regard to a varying amount of a load; a cryogenic cooling system for cooling the superconducting field coil; an exciter for generating power required in the superconducting generator; and a power converting apparatus fixed to the superconducting generator and an outside of the exciter and for converting the power generated from the exciter into a type required by the superconducting field coil and the cryogenic cooling system to supply the converted power to them.</p> |
