<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an entry word having a descriptive text matching a search sentence from the search sentence.SOLUTION: A system accepts an input of a search sentence from a user and searches for an item of a higher rank in similarity between the inputted search sentence and a descriptive text for an item in a term dictionary and presents an entry word and the descriptive text for the searched item to the user. A term appearing in the inputted search sentence is derived by carrying out morphological analysis of the inputted search sentence, a near-synonym for the derived term is acquired, and the similarity can be determined based on an angle formed by a vector for a term group composed of the derived term and the acquired near-synonym and a vector for the term group appearing in the descriptive text. When a text selected by the user is acquired from the presented entry word and the descriptive text and the text is the entry word for the term dictionary, the inputted search sentence is capable of being added to the descriptive text for the entry word.</p> |
