<p>The present invention relates to a speed sensing auxiliary brake lamp for a vehicle using an LED illuminated by interworking with a brake lamp (2) installed in a rear end of a vehicle (1) and illuminated as a driver steps on a brake pedal. The auxiliary brake lamp (3) includes: a main lighting unit (10) illuminated by interworking with a lighting operation of a brake lamp (2); a plurality of expansion lighting units (20) provided on a side of the main lighting unit (10); a speed detecting unit (30) to detect a vehicle′s speed (10); and a controller (40) to determine a deceleration level using a deceleration per second value of the vehicle (1) in accordance to a speed value provided by the speed detecting unit (30), and selectively illuminating the expansion lighting units (20) in accordance to the deceleration level. According to the present invention, the auxiliary brake lamp can selectively and expansively be illuminated in correspondence to a decelerated amount of the vehicle by a driver stepping on the brake, thus the driver of a rear vehicle can more easily recognize a vehicle′s deceleration in front of the driver, which requires a quick response such as a sudden stop.</p> |
