<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for providing the weight information of an elevator and, more specifically, to an apparatus for providing the weight information of an elevator, which is capable of previously checking whether waiting people or luggage can be loaded on the elevator by providing the weight information of the elevator to the waiting people on each floor. To achieve this, the apparatus for providing the weight information of an elevator comprises a load cell mounted in the elevator to detect the internal weight of the elevator; a weight calculating unit configured to calculate the weight information of people or luggage which can additionally get on the elevator or can be loaded thereon by using overweight reference weight preset to the elevator and the internal weight information detected from the load cell; and a control unit configured to display the weight information calculated by the weight calculating unit through a display device installed in a waiting space on each floor.</p> |
