PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development that can suppress toner particles from being excessively charged when the toner particles are stirred in a developing unit for a long period, and has an excellent heat-resistant storage property and low-temperature fixability.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner for electrostatic latent image development including toner particles composed of toner core particles including a binder resin, and a shell layer coating the surface of the toner core particles, where the shell layer is composed of a resin including a unit derived from a monomer of a thermosetting resin, and a unit derived from a thermoplastic resin; and the thermosetting resin is one or more resins selected from the amino resin group consisting of a melamine resin, urea resin, and glyoxal resin; fine particles (1) having a charging property reverse to that of the toner, and (2) having a volume resistivity lower than the volume resistivity of the binder resin and volume resistivity of the shell layer, are made present on the boundary between the toner core particles and shell layer. |
