PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type disposable diaper with high visibility by visual observation of a side seal part, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: In an underpants type wearing article 1, two sheets 31, 32 constituting at least one of exterior bodies 3 of a front body F and a rear body R are connected to each other by a plurality of exterior connecting parts 33 dispersed in a lengthwise direction X and a width direction Y of the wearing article, and elastic members 5, 6 are arranged between the exterior connecting parts 33 that are adjacent in the lengthwise direction. At least one of side seal parts 4 has a sealed edge part 41 in which an edge part 3F of the exterior body in the front body F and an edge part 3R of the exterior body in the rear body are joined together at a fusion part 40 extending in a longitudinal direction of the side seal part and a non-sealed part 42 in which the edge part of the exterior body in the front body F and the edge part of the exterior body in the rear body R are not joined, alternately in the longitudinal direction X' of the side seal part 4, and at least one of edge parts 3F', 3R' that are not joined to each other in the non-sealed part 42 is formed on the exterior connecting part 33. |
