PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular speed detection structure capable of improving detection accuracy by reducing a noise while securing a large degree of freedom in a position of disposing a detected part and a disposing position of a vehicle speed sensor without allowing the diameter of a final gear to grow.SOLUTION: In a vehicular speed detection structure in which a final gear 100 of a reduction gear train 38 constituting a part of power transmission means housed in a transmission case 31L is fixed to an axle 110, with a vehicle speed sensor 150 attached to the transmission case 31L in a manner so that a detection part 150s of the vehicle speed sensor 150 faces, in an axial direction, a detected part 105 integrally formed on one side of the final gear in the axial direction, the detected part 105 is formed in protrusion in the axial direction further than one side of a gear portion of the final gear 100 in the axial direction. |
