<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation of noise performance of a centrifugal fan, even if a chip clearance in the centrifugal pump is widened. <P>SOLUTION: The centrifugal fan 1 includes an impeller 2 having a plurality of blades 4 fixed on a main plate 3 rotating about a center axis J in a circumferentially spaced-apart manner, and a bell mouth 31 arranged at an air intake side of the impeller to define an air inlet 31a including a portion whose inner diameter is decreased toward the impeller side.
