Disclosed are a device and a method for controlling a camera for a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the disclosed method for controlling a camera for a vehicle comprises: filming the image of the front side of the vehicle through the camera; recognizing multiple targets in the image by analyzing the filmed image; receiving vehicle behavior information from an electronic brake system in the vehicle; classifying the recognized targets into interesting targets and uninteresting targets based on the received vehicle behavior information; and controlling the filming direction of the camera so that the classified interesting targets can be positioned in the image. According to the present invention, the targets are actively tracked when the camera is moved according to the behavior of the vehicle, thereby providing safety for a driver. |
